Rudy

Once upon a time there was a talking albino elephant named Rudy. Rudy lived in Africa with a big group of other elephants. One day he was walking with his group and got a little behind. Then a pack of hyenas attacked the group and Rudy got separated from the rest of the group. He then was trying to find his way back to the group when he found Craig the baboon. Rudy said ¨Can you help me sir I’m lost trying to find my herd we got attacked by a pack of hyenas.¨. Craig then said ¨sure bud what is your name?¨. ‘’Rudy.¨ he said. ¨Hi Rudy my name is Craig¨ he said. They then went off to go to a nearby pond to get some water then they started walking.

After about 30 minutes Craig and Rudy stumble upon a herd of Elephants. Rudy said to Craig “ This doesn’t look like my herd”, and then after getting a little bit closer they both realized that this herd of elephants was different than Rudy’s. The herd leader notices Rudy. The herd leader says “ who are you two strangers “ then Rudy says “ My name is Rudy and this here is Craig, he’s helping me find my herd that I got seperated from after an attack from hyenas”. The herd leader then says “ My name is Ivan and I am the leader of this herd”. 

Rudy explained his situation to Ivan and his herd and they decided to help Rudy get back to his own herd.  Craig and Rudy ended up becoming friends with Ivan as they traveled throughout Africa in search of Craig’s herd. They had been walking for days and had started to lose hope but Craig yells something out from ahead. ¨Hey Rudy I found some more Elephant tracks¨ Craig called out. Rudy and Ivan catch up to Craig to examine the tracks. ¨Good job Craig¨ Rudy said as he nudged Craig. Rudy asked Ivan if his herd had traveled that way and once he said that they hadn’t they decided to follow them. The night began to fall and the group decided to stop and rest. ¨What’s that?¨ Craig asked as he heard a rustling coming from a bush behind them.

It was one of the hyenas in the pack that attacked his family. It jumped out and tried to run away but they captured him and Rudy said “where is my herd!” the hyena didn’t say anything he just sat there pinned down by Ivan. They then put a tree over him so he couldn’t escape and went over to create a plan. “How about we let him go and follow him back to his home maybe my herd will be there.” said Craig. 

Rudy and Ivan talk and both decide to let the hyena go and to follow him back to Rudy’s herd. Rudy and Ivan both say “ You’re free to go but never come back”. The hyena instantly runs and the herd follows him from a distant. After about an hour Rudy says “ Hey, I recognize this area”. Then they see Rudy’s herd. And they all scare off the hyenas. Rudy says “ Thank you for helping me find my herd”. Ivan says “ Anything for a fellow elephant “. Ivan then leaves to go back to his herd. And Rudy is happy to be back with his herd.
